for Guardian Homes
This is an agreement about keeping one of our dogs in a Guardian Home. The agreement is between Rita Gaus

and as the Guardian.
Guardian agrees to home a Goldendoodle male,
for Rita Gaus. Guardian will have physical ownership and all liabilities of the dog. Rita Gaus will have all breeding rights. All registration papers, if available, will remain with Rita Gaus.
The dog is a breeding dog and will have to be released to be mated anytime when Rita Gaus desires. When the dog is done breeding, he/she will be returned to the Guardian.
Guardian is expected to keep dog up to date on shots, including rabies vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea treatments and regular vet visits. Guardian is also expected to keep up with regular grooming of the dog. Guardian is expected to take good care of the dog and not neglect dog in any way. Rita Gaus will pay for all breeding related expenses. If Rita Gaus decides to have the dog health tested, it will be at her expense. Guardian will notify Rita Gaus immediately if the dog gets sick or comes into season. Routine vet visits are the responsibility of the Guardian.
If the dog does not qualify to be a breeding dog or retires from breeding, such dog will be spayed or neutered and total ownership will then go to the Guardian. Rita Gaus will assume cost of spay/neuter, if dog is returned to her to have the surgery done. No more expenses will be paid by Rita Gaus from that point forward.
Guardian agrees to feed good quality dog food to the dog, as it will be discussed. The dog will be kept safe and will not be allowed to be off leash where it could run off or get bred. If the dog breeds to an unwanted dog or runs off, it will be returned to Rita Gaus permanently. Dog will be well taken care of, will live in the house with the family and not be put on a chain or in a kennel. Dog will be crate trained, well socialized and obedience trained. Dog will not be exposed to unhealthy dogs where icould be getting diseases such as Parvo, Distemper, Kennel cough, etc. If the dog is not properly taken care off, Rita Gaus will have the right to take the dog back.
If the Guardian of a female dog wishes to have a puppy from this dog, he/she may have one puppy from one litter only. The puppy will have to either be spayed or neutered. If Guardian has multiple Guardian dogs, one puppy will be given from each guardian dog. After giving one puppy, Guardian will receive $500 for each litter the dog whelps, providing there are 3 or more puppies. If Guardian decides to return the Guardian dog and they already received a puppy, Guardian will have to pay full price for the puppy, as they didn't fulfill the contract. If the contract is breached by Guardian in any way, the dog will have to be returned to Rita Gaus. Guardian dogs will only be placed with homeowners and non smoking families.

If you wish to purchase the dog before it is retiring, you may do so for $10,000
This is our new guardian contract, effective May 1st, 2015.
All prior guardian contracts remain as previously written.
